London hours. If nobody picks up we are on a site somewhere, so leave a message and a number and we will ring you back.

Good for a question, an availability check, or sending us something to look at.

  • Send a brief

    The enquiry form

Best if you know the date, the numbers and roughly where in the world. It reaches the right person first time. If you are working to a written brief or a tender, send it to us here instead.

  • WhatsApp

    +44 7522 110072

For a quick question, or when you are somewhere it is easier to type than talk.

Who you will be dealing with

Christopher Mills sitting on a cream damask sofa with a gold fringe, in a floral jacket and green trousers, in front of a carved stone Gothic arch.

Christopher Mills founded the studio and takes the first call himself. He will be the one drawing your world, and on the day he will be on site with his hands on it.

Everything under the drawing gets made by our own people in our own workshop — the sets, the flowers, the food, the cast. Ask for a change late on and you are asking the person who will make it.

Why The Events Mill

The discovery call

We offer a complimentary discovery call to all clients. It is important to us that you have the space and time to fully brief us, and for us to hear all about your dream experience. Take all the time you need.

It helps if you can say what the date is, how many people, and where in the world you are thinking. If you do not know yet, say that too — plenty of the good ones start there.

What happens after you get in touch

  1. The call

You brief us and we listen, and we ask the awkward questions early.

  2. At pitch stage

A copy of our credentials, a creative overview document, and suggested investment guidance.

  3. On confirmation

A fully developed creative, and a planning and development plan.

  4. Then we build it

We work from the foundations upwards, and you stay in control the whole way. We guide and inspire. The decisions are yours.

More questions, answered: the FAQ.

On money

We will never tell you what you should spend, because that decision must lie with you. A better way of looking at budgeting is to consider this question: what do I not want to spend? That can often be your ceiling to work from.

If you would sooner see figures first, the budgeting guide sets out what the different levels of work actually cost.

Discretion

The Events Mill operates with the utmost discretion. We have non-disclosure agreements in place with all suppliers, partners and across our own teams.

A good deal of our work is never shown anywhere. If yours cannot be photographed or talked about, say so on the first call and it never is.

Visits by arrangement. It is a working workshop, so there is usually something half-built standing in the middle of it.

We are a London based agency, but we are agile and reactive, so we travel with our clients and pop up on every continent.

Nothing on this page changes if your date is in Marrakesh or on a lake in Italy.
