Case Studies

Our work
Case Studies
Twenty-two we have made. The photographs are our own, taken at the event.
They run from a table for a hundred and fifty laid in a private woodland, to four street food trucks built into the Cloisters of Westminster Abbey, to three days in Florida with the US Navy SEALs.
Nothing here came out of a catalogue. The trucks were built to the contours of the stone. The tree at Native Bankside was cut from recycled steel. The alligator was carved at the table.
The work

The Surrealist Ball
A masquerade inside a pop-up built from scratch, with an imperial staircase, a hidden Terry Gilliam bar and a red lounge with edible walls.

The Wassails, With War Child UK
A concert dinner with the charity’s global ambassadors on the bill, and the menu designed and cooked by our own kitchen.

Rolls-Royce Black Badge
Digital dining tables, a build-your-own cocktail wall and black-on-black plating, all of it underground.

The Vulgar, Fashion Redefined
A drag ball for the launch of the exhibition, with a red-carpet catwalk and a different theme on every dinner table.

Dinner Under The Stars
A banquet for 150 under chandeliers hung in the trees, cooked over open fire, with aerialists in the branches above.

Cocktails At Windmill Hill
A summer afternoon at the Rothschild family archives: an oyster bar, a DJ, and mirror balls floating in the infinity pools.

A Tuscan Dream At Waddesdon Manor
A surprise 40th on the Parterre: five courses, a reception in the Aviary, and a Manhattan cocktail club until dawn.

Winston Churchill’s Life In Immersion
A cocktail party in The Long Library, with Churchill’s life laid out along it as a walk-through timeline.

The Ultimate House And Garden Party
A housewarming turned festival: a Sherlock Holmes bar indoors, a funfair and circus outdoors, and glamping with room service.

Premier League At Westminster Abbey
Four bespoke street food trucks built into the Cloisters, and a cocktail lounge kept hidden until after the private tour.

PANERAI, With The US Navy SEALs
Three days of simulated training with the US Navy SEALs, and an immersive dinner at the end of each one.

Wise Airlines
A global audience sat down to the second day of a conference in Tallinn. Twenty-one minutes later they were passing luggage over their heads at thirty-eight thousand feet.

Easter Elegance At Lunch
A spring tablescape built from flea-market antiques and porcelain eggs, dressed with stocks, sweet peas and garden roses.

Twelve feet of recycled steel hung with Victorian antiques, the Golden Hind and the antique food tins of old Borough Market.

Art Deco at Somerset House, a speakeasy built behind bespoke cabaret dancer artwork.

Ten tables on the life and works of Shakespeare, the Tudor court and three of his plays.

Royal Salute, Whisky At Kensington Palace
Twenty-one gastronomic moments built on taste, touch, sight, sound and smell.

An apartment above the circuit turned F1 pit garage, with bespoke scents, chocolate tools and a Parc Ferme dinner among model cars.

Claridge’s, A Mehndi And A Wedding At Home
A civil ceremony and afternoon tea at Claridge’s, a Mehndi full of colour and a Sikh wedding in a marquee at home.

A Wedding Reception At The Natural History Museum
Dinner beneath the blue whale in Hintze Hall, cherry blossom on the Fossil Way and an orchestra on the great staircase.
Waddesdon Manor and Westminster Abbey both keep a short list of suppliers. We have been on both for years.
The venues we work in →What one of these costs
It depends where. The same idea costs one thing in a field and quite another in a Grade I listed Cloister, where the stone has to be protected and the whole build has forty-five minutes. The planning fee and the budgets we work to are on one page.
Most people arrive with a feeling and no idea what to call it. The ten worlds are a place to start.
